You can change the amount of memory assigned to the Claro processes by editing the ../Elpical Claro/conf/jClaro.conf file. Locate these lines:
# Maximum memory for JAI usage (in MegaPixel)
wrapper.java.additional.5=-Dcom.elpical.jaimemory=50
# Concurrent image processes and max memory/process (in MB)
wrapper.java.additional.6=-Dcom.elpical.concurrent=2
wrapper.java.additional.7=-Dcom.elpical.concurrent_maxmemory=768
And this one:
wrapper.java.maxmemory=768
The first value (“-Dcom.elpical.jaimemory=50”) should be set to the number of megapixels in the biggest image you want to be able to process. Do not set it higher then 100.
The second value (“-Dcom.elpical.concurrent=2”) is the number of concurrent processes. By default this is 2. It means that 2 images can be processed in parallel. The maximum number of processes you can use in a standard license is 4. Don't set this number to a higher value then the available processor cores in your hardware.
The third value (“-Dcom.elpical.concurrent_maxmemory”) is the amount of memory each parallel process can claim. Put this value to at least 1024mb. For processing large files set this value to 1280 for example. Please note that you need at least so much RAM in your hardware: -Dcom.elpical.concurrent * -Dcom.elpical.concurrent_maxmemory. With the default settings that is 1.5GB RAM (2*768).
The fourth value (“wrapper.java.maxmemory=768”) is only applicable when -Dcom.elpical.concurrent=1. Then this value represents the amount of memory Claro can claim.
In Claro routing channels you can route files based upon filenames.
Optionally you can use regular expressions to do this.
Check the appropriate checkbox to do this.

This could be because of a DNS problem. The Photoshop Inspector tries to connect to the Claro Server using its hostname. If the hostname of the Claro server cannot be resolved on the client, the connection will fail. This can be resolved for example by adding the hostname to the hosts file of the client.
Photoshop Inspector uses various TCP ports to connect to the Claro Server. By default the ports are 1025, 1026 and 2001. These ports can be used by another application. They can also be blocked by a firewall.
Contact support@elpical.com if you want to change the ports that Claro is using.
